How to improve your batting- 𝕃𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕟 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕓𝕝𝕠𝕘

In cricket batting requires the most hard work and practice. For being a good batsmen you should be a good decision maker. You should select your shot fast.Shot selection should depend on the bounce of the ball the swing, pace or spin.By seeing the hand turning of the bowler you should decide whether it is off or leg spin or whether he has done off break or leg break. You can improve your batting skills by seeing your weak point, practice in a net session and record your batting with your phone and camera to detect your batting weak points and later work on them.

Some batting tricks to improve your batting are:-

1)Maintain a proper stance :-

While you hold the bat your shoulders must be in the line of the bowlers arm.The distance between your two feet should be the same as the distance between two shoulders in normal position because in this position you can move easily both on front foot and back foot.Your body weight should be focused on your feet.Make a line with a bat on the line of middle stump.Your front leg can be on the right side of the line but do not keep it on the left side of the line that is do not block your back foot and do not intersect it.

2)Judge your shot properly

If the fielder is on mid on do not hit high shots on mid on you may hit ground shot but do not give catch. However if the fielder is within 30 yards hit hit behind him without giving him catch.Play safely without getting out.

3)Eye Level

The batsmen's eye should focus on the ball and the bowlers arm.

4)Hit with energy and look at the gap not the fielder

5)Length of ball(Last but most important)

It is the most important for perfect OP timing to hit massive sixes like virat. If their is a high ball of shoulder to head length play hook shot or if its good length ball shorts like on-drive or off drive are better. To summarize ,it means to move backwards or forwards depending on the length of the ball.

So this were tricks to improve your overarm batting.Hope you liked it
